About the Author

Assistant Commandant Dr. Prashant Jagtap is an officer by profession, a doctor by qualification and a teacher by passion. He served as an Assistant Commandant (Group A/Gazetted) in Central Industrial Security Force (Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India) for five years. He was an officer of 2012 batch UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant examination and was allocated to CISF, one of most elite Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) of Union of India. He is a MBBS, MA (Psychology) by qualification from Government Medical College, Kolhapur. His previous work includes being Medical Officer (Group A) for Government of Maharashtra and Assistant Lecturer in Government Medical college, Kolhapur in Forensic Medicine department. He was also recommended by Maharashtra Public Service Commission. He is the director of Pathfinders’ Academy for CAPF, a specialised coaching center for CAPF AC examination based in Pune and New Delhi. In CAPF 2018, 109 students cleared UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant examination under his guidance. He has successfully guided many CAPF AC aspirants from all over India to clear UPSC CAPF AC examination. He has authored three books with McGraw Hill Education, India. 1.
